A concept of the North West Colts League the Cock-o-the-North Challenge was conceived for Club based Senior Colts Teams who play Colts League Rugby.

Sponsored by : Raging Bull Sportswear the Cock-o-the-North is now in it's Sixth Season and has it's routes in the traditional Colts fixtures between teams from the Northern Counties.

Top Senior Colts Teams from their respective Leagues are nominated from the Raging Bull NW Colts League and their Yorkshire, Cumbria, Durham, and Northumberland counterparts to a one off Finals Day.

Needless to say these four x Senior Colts Finals (Cup, Vase, Trophy, & Bowl) involve the best in Senior Colts Teams who have proven themsleves worthy...

The Cock-o-the-North Challenge Cup Finals are seen by some as the epitaph to a successful Colts' season and by many players as the crowning glory to their Colts Rugby career.
