Teams Co-operate to Defy The Weather...

With pitches at Rossendale under water following last weekend's torrential rain, and with the co-operation of their would-be visitors Fylde, Rossendale Junior Colts managed to reverse their fixture at short notice and instead succeeded in playing their Colts League game at the Woodlands, Fylde.

The Referee helped out too !! - and travelled to officiate at the away venue.

Moreover - our thanks and praise to both Team Managers for exploring the possibilities to ensure their Lads were able to Play Rugby, in spite of the weather !!

Moral of the story - in co-operation we can all overcome adversity...

Be Prepared...
We are running out of available League Weekends... If your pitches are unplayable and you are unable to find another suitable pitch locally - it is worth talking to your opponents who's pitches may be in a more suitable condition.
