Following a 3rd walkover conceded this weekend Northwich's Junior Colts Head Coach, Alex Cartney, has contacted the League Secretary to give certain assurances plus a commitment to the League.
The League Committee have no wish to prevent players playing rugby, and in support of Northwich's efforts and communication with the League a stay of execution has been extended to the Team on Regulation 3(11).
Northwich Junior Colts will therefore be allowed to continue in Junior D, and will also be allowed to proceed to the League Cup Competition, provided there are no further walkovers on their part.
We trust the remainder of the Teams in Junior D will support and accomodate the Committee's recommendation.
