We all know Rugby in general, and Colts Rugby in particular, is short of Referees.
We cannot play without them, and it is unlikely new Referees will come from outside the game !!
So why not give it a try ??
Better still - encourage your Colleagues, Club Mates, and other (past it) Players to join you in
'taking up the whistle'.
Who knows you might be just prime for it, you may even be good at it, and you'll certainly enjoy it !!
ELRA Referee Courses
The starting point is an Entry Level Referee Award (ELRA) Course, and the Colts League are offering Bursaries to fund such courses...
There are two ELRA Courses in your area soon:
ELRA at Eccles RUFC (Tues 16 & Weds 17 Feb)
ELRA Course at Wilmslow RUFC (Sun 7 & Sun 14 March).

What Then ??
Following your ELRA Referee Course you will find Colts League games are just the vehicle for Referee development, providing an appropriate level of rugby where new Referees can develop their art.
They are also an excellent stepping stone for those who wish to go further...
All CLRA games are "local" appointments, so there's not too much travelling.
