Outstanding Seeding Information - JUNIOR COLTS...

Seeding is not an accurate science, and is based on feedback, opinion, and the mean average of submitted results.

However, it is important for Player Development that we get the seeding as "near right" as possible; achieving evenly Seeded Leagues delivering equitable games of Colts League Rugby.

It is in no Team's interest to be seeded too low, and to be winning with a cricket score each weekend, nor is it helpful to be seeded too high, and to be taking a regular beating.

The "Seeding Process" is wholely dependant on Managers' feedback, as they best know their own Team, as well as their recent opponents.

The first stage of the seeding process requires all JUNIOR COLTS MANAGERS to submit their U16's results from last season, and this was requested over two weeks ago !! (15/05/10)

Our thanks to those Managers who have already submitted their results...

However RESULTS INFORMATION and SQUAD REGISTRATIONS are still outstanding from the following Junior Colts Teams :~

Ashton-under-Lyne
Blackpool
Furness
Helsby
Kendal
Littleborough
Manchester
New Brighton
Southport
Stockport
Tarleton
Vale of Lune
Waterloo

Teams who do not submit the requested information make it difficult for the League to seed them, and their own entry and commitment to the Colts League will be seriously questioned by the League Committee.

Please send your outstanding Results NOW, by e-mail to :~
seeding@colts-rugby.org.uk

The Further Seeding Process...
Once all entries are in (Weds 2nd June) the League will publish a List of Entries on which Managers will be asked to "Rate" all Teams of which they have experience.

The League Seeding Committee will then meet to discuss and determine the seedings which will be based solely on your feedback.

A "Provisional Seeded Leagues" document will then be published, with a two week consultation period for acceptance, comment, and perhaps some negociated movement.

Hope this is all clear and helpful.
