Poor Admin...
The Colts League Committee is not in the business of preventing Players or Teams playing Rugby - we are here to serve and facilitate it !! However it does require everyone to play their part...
Paperwork is kept to a minimum but is a necessary part of running and Managing a Team in the Colts League, and we thank those Managers who keep their admin in order and up-to-date.
However, some measure is occasionally needed to encourage all Managers to comply.
Imposing points deductions has always been available within the Regulations although it has not always been rigerously applied particularly when those offending are often suffering at the foot of a Table.
Those who do not complete or submit their Results Texts or Match Cards correctly or on-time whether occasionally or repeatedly are letting down the rest of the League and ultimately their own Players. This causes much additional work and expense for League Admin Personnel in chasing results and other paperwork and can delay publication of the weekly Results and Tables.
Therefore the Sanctions Regulations have been introduced as agreed by the Members at the 2010 AGM.

NB : Teams allowing 2 walkovers in their League will not go forward to the League Cup Competitions
The formal introduction of Sanctions Regulations is not intended to be a Draconian measure; we hope it will not have to be applied. However it serves to convey to all Managers the importance the League places on good communication and completing admin correctly and on time as most Managers do.
