Hi Jon, Just a quick line to say I reffed Sedgley Pk JC v Liverpool Collegiate JC and Sedgley Park lent Liverpool Collegiate a player to make up the numbers at the start of the game and even when Liverpool Collegiate had a player taken off due to injury Sedgley Pk offered up another sub. It is heartening to see such sportsmanship alive and well and also thanks to both teams for working together to allow a 12 noon k/o following a prior request from myself. It is also great to get positive feedback from teams and coaches after the match. It was a sporting, fair contest, played with a great attitude between the players - a credit to both sets of players and coaches. A pleasure to ref.
Best wishes Stephen Snoddy

Just to inform you that Northwich Junior Colts have now got a fixture against Shrewsbury on Sunday 9th Novemeber, therefore you can now remove us from the pool.
The pool worked well for us last weekend when we had a fixture against Macclesfield, thanks for providing this valuable service.
Regards
Ken

Just thought you all would like to know that Bowdon were excellent in their
sportsmanship yesterday and allowed us to borrow 2 players for each half (4
in total). As a result although the first half was a bit one sided
Winnington rallied to win the second half. The players loaned were of a
good standard and played well for us against their own team with real
enthusiasm. Although we lost, the players had a good game and I hope
learned as much about ethos as much as skills and teamwork.
Keep up the good work as you run the league in an exemplary fashion
and long may that continue!
Regards,
Steve Riddlestone

Jon,
Can you possibly post our thanks to Bowden Junior Colts. We played them
yesterday and the team and the coaching staff were a credit to their club.
In what must have been a difficult week for them following the loss of
their assistant coach, the game was played in a wonderful sporting manner.
We have had our own difficulties over the last couple of weeks with
defections to Northwich RUFC and Bowden helped out by lending us two of
their players to make it a sporting contest.
Wherever their asst. coach was watching from he would have been proud of
the boys and his fellow coaches.
Regards,
Graham Pugh

Hi Chaps,
First of all...sportsmanship.
Public thank you to Sedgley Park U17s. Sandbach struggled with numbers on Sunday due to injuries and the half-term hols and so turned up with only 14 players. Sedgely very kindly lent Sandbach a player so that the game could start with 15-a-side. A Sandbach player turned up at half-time so the Sedgley player was able to switch sides and play the remainder of the match for his own team. Thanks very much to them for maintaining the highest levels of sportsmanship.
Many thanks,
Tim Smith (Sandbach)

Hi Jon,
Just a few words about today's Game.
Good sportsmanship is alive and well in Bowden, Winnigton park had only 12 players and Bowden let them have 2 in each half.
At half time Bowden where 45 - 0 up I talked with the Bowden coach and players that I would police areas of Bowden's play a little more. they did not have a problem with this as it would get them to think about the basics.
Winnington Park came to the second half a totally different team than the first half. and score 24 points to Bowden's 12.
I was a great game to be apart of and one that was a pleasure to referee, Both teams played in great spirit but its a commendation to Bowden for their sense of fair play and excellent sportsmanship.
David (CLRA Referee).
