Managers Must Note...
Applications for Young Player Registrations must be made in good time – the League, the County, and the RFU take a dim view of Managers / Coaches disturbing County Registrars on a Friday evening attempting to achieve registrations for that weekend.
How do I know an Opposition Player is of the correct age ?
All Managers and Coaches have a Duty of Care to the Players in their charge and to their opposition. Player Selections must be within the correct age group for the Team.
Managers wishing to check their opponents RFU Youth Registration Cards against the Players to confirm this must do so in line with RFU Guidelines at least 30 minutes before the scheduled Kick Off time.
If for some reason a Player is awaiting an RFU Registration Number and I/D Card a suitable alternative form of I/D such as a passport must be shown, on request, as proof of age, otherwise the Player must not play.
Teams failing to make their RFU Young Player Registration I/D Cards and their Players available may be deducted points and may forfeit the game.
