The RFU National Under 17's Competition features 4 knock-out competitions, similar to the Colts League's own League Cup Competitions - namely the National U17 Cup, Plate, Bowl, and Shield.
For Teams "nominated" from the Raging Bull NW Colts League the first three rounds feature teams from the Northern Division, and comprise the Northern Divisional 1/4 Finals, Northern Divisional Semi-Finals, and Northern Divisional Finals.
The Northern Divisional Champions in each Competition then go forward to play the Midlands Champions in the RFU National U17 Semi-Finals, and then onward to the RFU National U17 Finals.

Entry into the RFU National Under 17's Competition is "by nomination" and is not a given right of qualification.
"Top Tier Teams" from the Raging Bull NW Colts Leagues Jnr A, Jnr B, Jnr C, and Jnr D will go forward to represent their CB and the Colts League. Nominations will be dependant on performance throughout the season and a Team's standing at the conclusion thereof...

28th Feb - Divisional 1/4 Finals (1st Round)
14th March - Divisional Semi-Finals
28th March - Divisional Finals - (Home Team as Drawn)
18th April - National Semi-Finals - (at Doncaster)
02nd May - National Finals - (at Sixways, Worcester)
Player Qualification & RFU Registrations
Players must have been registered with their Club on the RFU's "RugbyFirst" database on or before
31st December of the current season.
Please Note : Any Team fielding a Player registered after this date, or an unregistered player, will be disqualified by the RFU who will be checking the Match Cards.
Further "Player Qualification" criteria are detailed in the National U17's Competition Regulations.
Managers may wish to note Regulation 10.2 of the above regulations regarding
RFU travel assistance for trips of more then 200 miles (round trip).
